As part of an international development project, our managing director recently visited Cameroon to gain insights into the development of sustainable structures for the local population. Together with the aid organisation Hamami, we are supporting initiatives that create long-term prospects and enable local people to shape their own futures.

We find it particularly exciting to see how expertise is being applied on the ground to create sustainable prospects for the local population. Among other things, educational and infrastructure projects are currently being prepared, including the planned construction of a school. We are following these developments with great interest.

Hamami has been deeply rooted in the region for several years and works closely with the local population. Through the targeted application of expertise and international support, projects are emerging that are economically, socially and environmentally sustainable. Many of these initiatives are already operating independently and demonstrate what effective development work can look like.

There is currently no formal collaboration at company level. At the same time, we are convinced of Hamami’s work and approach and remain in close contact. Where appropriate, we support the projects personally and contribute our experience and perspectives on a case-by-case basis.

We value open dialogue and a responsible approach to local circumstances, and we follow further developments with great appreciation.
